HTC EVO™ 4G LTE, exclusively from Sprint, is a multimedia powerhouse designed to deliver a high-definition experience at 4G LTE speeds. EVO 4G LTE is loaded with industry-leading features, including the latest version of HTC Sense 4, a vibrant 4.7-inch HD display, 1.5GHz dual-core processor and an advanced 8-megapixel camera. It also brings back the fan-favorite kickstand built into the smartphone's refined, slim design. EVO 4G LTE is the first HD voice-capable phone announced by any U.S. wireless carrier, making mobile voice quality crystal clear while nearly eliminating background noise. The on-screen photo and video buttons are right next to each other, so users don't have to switch modes, allowing the user to take video and photos concurrently. With the super-fast auto-focus, users can easily stay with a moving object or person, taking pictures as long as the shutter button is held. EVO 4G LTE is the first device from Sprint with Beats Audio™ offering the rich, authentic sound across the entire phone experience, including playing music stored on the device, streaming from a favorite service, watching a movie or YouTube™ video, or playing the latest hot game.

Samsung Conquer 4G Review - CNET

Samsung-Conquer-4G-CNET.jpg

CNET have published a review of theSamsung Conquer 4G (Sprint) Android smartphone. 'On front, there's a 3.5-inch, 320x480 TFT touch screen. Given the cost of the device, it's not a big surprise to see a lower-resolution screen. Pixels are a little more visible on the Conquer's display, so images and text don't look as smooth and colors aren't as vibrant compared to some of the today's super screens. That said, it's still clear and bright enough to view what's on screen. The 3.5-inch display can feel slightly cramped when viewing Web pages and using the virtual keyboard. However, the phone offers pinch-to-zoom support and a built-in accelerometer, as well as the Swype keyboard, and all felt very responsive. Navigating the phone is a breeze. The Conquer 4G doesn't use Samsung's TouchWiz user interface. Instead, you get a more stock Android experience, with the option to customize the UI using Sprint ID.'

Sprint-Motorola-Photon-4G-Phone-Reviews.jpg

Phone Reviews have published a video review of the Sprint Motorola Photon 4G Android smartphone. HTC EVO 3D Review - HotHardware

HTC-EVO-3D-HotHardware.jpg

HotHardware have published a review of the HTC EVO 3D smartphone. 'The EVO 3D ships with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) installed. As the latest version of Android for handsets, this OS offers some key improvements over Froyo (Android 2.2) including speed improvements, new themes, improved copy and paste functionality, better power management, better application management, and more. Although we're seeing many phones (including the EVO 4G) get an over-the-air update to Android 2.3, it's still nice to have it installed from the start. As with many phones today, the majority of the front of the EVO 3D is covered by the large 4.3 inch display. This smartphone is the first in the U.S. to ship with this a 3D qHD display. qHD is a resolution standard of 540x960 (quarter HD). Below the screen, you'll find four touch-sensitive backlit buttons (Home, Menu, Back, and Search).'

Samsung Trender Review - CNET

Samsung-Trender-CNET.jpg

CNET have published a review of the Samsung Trender SPH-M380 (Sprint) messaging phone. 'The Trender has Bluetooth support and optional 3G data. On the communications front, there's threaded text and picture messaging, and a Web mail app that can suck in your Gmail, Yahoo, Windows Live, and AOL e-mail accounts. Essentials include a calculator, a calendar, a clock, and notes. There's also voice command and driving mode, and the Trender has shortcuts to the mobile-optimized Web sites for Twitter and Facebook. The latter is not a pleasant experience, especially when we've been spoiled by native apps. Other shortcuts include an online store for Google search, games, the weather, news, and sports. The Internet wasn't exactly sprightly on the Trender; we loaded CNET's Web-optimized site in about 40 seconds. Unfortunately, the Trender uses EV-DO Rev. 0 3G rather than the speedier Rev. A technology.

HTC Arrive Review - Pocketables

HTC-Arrive-Pocketables.jpg

A review of the HTC Arrive Windows Phone 7 smartphone has been posted over at Pocketables. 'The HTC Arrive is Sprint's first WP7 device. It brings a 3.6" WVGA screen with a resolution of 480x800. Driving the device's performance are a 1GHz processor with 576 MB of RAM. A 5MP camera with LED flash completes the camera system, and you have pretty much all day to take pictures because of a 1500 mAh battery inside. The front of the device is an elegant combination of glass and metal. In fact, it's actually quite utilitarian: the glass for the screen is used for durability, and the two metal strips above the top and below the bottom of the cutouts of the glass are used for the device's earpiece and microphone, respectively. This keeps a very clean design for the front.'

HTC Evo Shift 4G Review - HotHardware

HTC-Evo-Shift-4G-HotHardware.jpg

HotHardware have published a review of the HTC Evo Shift 4G Android smartphone. 'The EVO Shift 4G is clearly based on its namesake, the EVO 4G. At first glance, it looks like the EVO, only smaller. Its 3.6-inch capacitive multi-touch screen runs the length of the device and is plenty big enough (and vivid enough) for viewing media and interacting with apps, especially when the screen doesn't also have to host a keyboard. It supplies the same four permanent function keys along the front bottom of the device: Home, Menu, Back and Search. The keys summon different application functions depending on the application that is running. It has the same overall boxy look, too.'

HTC EVO Shift 4G Review - MobileBurn

By Admin on January 21, 2011 1:18 PM | No Comments

HTC-EVO-Shift-4G-MobileBurn.jpg

A review of the HTC EVO Shift 4G (Sprint) smartphone has been posted over at MobileBurn. 'The ECO Shift 4G is HTC's second 4G capable smartphone for Sprint. Like the original EVO 4G, the EVO Shift runs the Android smartphone OS and offers fast data speeds when hooked up to Sprint's 4G WiMAX network. The solidly built EVO Shift lacks a super-massive touchscreen display but more than makes up for it with a well implemented slide-out QWERTY keyboard, which makes quick work of messaging tasks. Speaking of which, the phone also features HTC's Sense user interface and all of the associated social networking and messaging services, as well as a suite of beautifully done widgets.'

HTC EVO Shift 4G Review - ZDNet

By Admin on January 12, 2011 2:34 PM | No Comments

HTC-EVO-Shift-4G-ZDNet.jpg

A review of the Sprint HTC EVO Shift 4G smartphone has been posted over at ZDNet. 'The HTC EVO Shift 4G is a version of the EVO with a QWERTY keyboard and looks to compete directly with the Sprint Samsung Epic 4G and IMHO the Epic 4G is a better QWERTY keyboard device than the EVO Shift 4G. The EVO Shift 4G seems like a device that should have launch in October as a refresh of the EVO 4G with a QWERTY keyboard while giving buyers a chance to pick it up in time for the holidays. Now with dual-core processor smartphones coming out in the next few months, this is mid-level device that at least is priced to reflect that at the $149.99 two-year subsidized contract price. Check out some photos of the HTC EVO Shift 4G in my image gallery and forgive me if I no longer have my own EVO 4G to take comparison shots and I moved off of the Sprint network last month.'
