A review of the MWG Atom Life Windows Mobile device has been posted over at IT Reviews.
‘When it comes to smartphone credentials the Atom Life does quite well. This is a 3G handset with HSDPA, tri-band GSM, GPRS and EDGE thrown in. There is a front-facing camera for two-way video calling and a 2-megapixel main camera for shooting photos, complete with flash and self portrait mirror. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are built in, and even old fashioned infra-red makes an appearance. It doesn't stint in the looks department, either. The size and shape are similar to many other Windows Mobile devices: 106mm tall, 58mm wide, 18mm thick, 145g in weight and a 2.7-inch, 320 x 240 pixel screen. But the black shiny casing is appealing and distinctive and much more the kind of thing you might expect to find on a consumer grade handset than a fully fledged smartphone.’

Brighthand have published their review of the MWg Atom Life smartphone.
‘The MWg Atom Life is a simply designed handset with some nice touches in both the hardware and software. It is weighted nicely in the hand, and feels a good bit like an expensive kit. The chrome rim looks more metal than chrome, and the matching stylus is a bit more weighted than those found in other devices. The front of the device is dominated by the 320-by-240-pixel touchscreen. Showing millions of colors, it does a solid job in indoor and darkened room situations. Outdoors, it can be washed out by some levels of direct sunlight, but nothing worse than other handsets.’

A review of the MWg Zinc II Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional smartphone has been posted over at Tracy and Matt's Blog.
'First impressions of the device was that it is well made and solid in the hand, but boy is it heavy, weighing in at 185g, it is in the same league with the Tytn at 190g. In this day and age I am under the impression that things are getting smaller and lighter?
The semi automatic spring loaded keyboard is also smooth and well made, I personally found that I used it very little, as for me it is overcomplicated and cluttered, not having had a keyboard before it is quite possible that I have found ways not to need to use one. I could not find any settings to allow extending the time on the back light and this meant that I was frustrated when it would switch off after a relatively short period especially at night, which again made it a little more unusable for me.'

IT Reviews have published a review of the MWg Atom V Windows Mobile 6 smartphone.
'MWg's Atom V packs in a lot of features. It is a Windows Mobile 6 Professional device complete with 2.8-inch touch screen and GPS antenna. It is quad-band GSM and it'll manage HSDPA connections at speeds up to 7.2Mbps if your network can handle it. It has Bluetooth and Wi-Fi built in too. There is an FM radio with RDS to complement the music playback and you can boost the 256MB of built-in memory using microSD cards. A 2-megpixel camera lens sits on the back of the casing and shots are helped out by its macro mode, autofocus and an LED flash.'

A review of the MWg Zinc II Windows Mobile 6.1 multimedia device has been posted over at Brighthand.com.
'The Zinc II has a traditional PDA form-factor. The front is dominated by the QVGA (320 by 240 pixel) screen. Below this is a directional pad flanked by the green and red call buttons. Unlike many other Windows Mobile devices, the Zinc II does not have additional application buttons on the front facade, nor does it have hard buttons that duplicated the function of the soft buttons which appear on-screen. On the left side you'll find the up/down volume buttons and a third button which can be mapped to any program (it launches voice notes by default).'
