Brighthand have published their review of the HP iPAQ Glisten Windows Mobile Professional 6.5 smartphone. 'The Glisten is nice-looking, with angular features and an overall sleek appearance. It's mostly black, aside from cool hematite accents on both sides of the device. The material on the back is rubberized, so it's comfortable to grip and won't serve as a fingerprint magnet. It sits in the sweet spot as far as weight is concerned, between "so light it feels like a toy" and "so heavy I don't want to carry it." The Glisten feels substantial, but not too weighty, and fits comfortably in a pocket.'

Laptop Magazine have published a review of the HP iPAQ Glisten Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone.. 'The 4.4 x 2.5 x 0.5-inch Glisten is aesthetically reminiscent of BlackBerry devices, with its rounded corners, curved top and bottom edges, and generously sized keys. The phone is about the same size as the BlackBerry Bold 9700 and the Samsung Jack, though it takes more design cues from the former. The lightweight device fit comfortably in our hand, and weighs just 4.7 ounces. A rubber-feeling plastic graces the top and bottom of the device and extends across the back of the phone, lending the Glisten some durability.'

InfoSync World have published their review of the HP iPaq Glisten Windows Mobile 6.5 smartphone. 'Though the HP iPaq Glisten uses a dazzling AMOLED display, the best looking display technology we've seen, it's mostly wasted on this device. The phone gets the most basic multimedia software available, the simple, unintelligent Windows Media Player suite. Windows Media Player does a poor job finding and managing your music and videos. Once you've loaded your files properly, the player controls are tiny, and there aren't many features on board. It seems even Microsoft has abandoned the aging player. We clicked on the Web link on the WMP screen, and were taken to a page that said it was best viewed by a Windows Mobile device. Clearly, the base media experience on Windows Mobile needs an update, and HP might be the only manufacturer left completely relying on WMP for music and video playback.'
